What is the duration of the class?
We recommend setting aside around 16 hours to complete the course — that’s the sweet spot for most people. That said, everyone learns at their own pace. Some may move a little faster, others may take a bit more time. The best part? You’re in control.
Start and stop whenever it works for you. Just make sure to complete the course within 30 days of purchase, and you’re good to go!
Will there be a final exam?
At the end of this course, you’ll take a timed exam. To pass, you’ll need to score at least 70%. Don’t worry—if you don’t pass on your first try, you’ll have two more opportunities to retake it.
Throughout the course, we’ll cover all of the exam questions and provide direct feedback, so you’ll know exactly how well you understand the material before test day. And if you’re someone who doesn’t typically do well on tests—no need to stress. We pride ourselves on preparing you thoroughly. If you stay engaged and apply yourself, you’ll be more than ready to pass with confidence.
When can I take the class?
You can take this course whenever it fits your schedule. Start and stop at any time—you’re in control of your learning pace. Our platform is compatible with computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones, so you can complete the course wherever and whenever it’s most convenient for you.
What certificates will I get?
Upon completion of the course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion from both the IICRC and RT360. These certificates will be available for immediate download.
All certificates are secured using NFT blockchain technology, ensuring their authenticity and protecting against fraud.
The IICRC certificate can also be used to redeem Continuing Education Credits (CECs).

Is this a FSRT Certification?
This course is not a FSRT certification. However, it does cover all of the same foundational knowledge taught during a FSRT certification and has been reviewed by the IICRC for accuracy.
If your goal is to gain a solid understanding of fire and smoke remediation restoration and earn a certificate of completion—with the flexibility to learn at your own pace—this course is an excellent choice.
If you’re specifically looking to earn your FSRT certification, you’ll need to enroll in an approved course offered by a certified provider. These courses are delivered in-person and generally run for three days.

No, you can take this class without prior knowledge.

There is no additional fee for the exam or certificates. The price listed is all-inclusive—it covers the entire course, the exam, and your certification. If you’d like, we can even submit your certificate to the IICRC for continuing education credits on your behalf at no extra charge.
